SRT D85W (One Single Dish with Over 150 free to Air channels)

Sounds Strange? Everyday we are having new discoveries and techniques on satellite world..... Strong released this first Multibeam dish available in Africa which gives access to more than 150 Free-to-Air channels (requiring no Subscription fees).over different satellite beams.
with this single dish you can track different satellite that offers free to air channels with one dish. you will agree with me that tracking free to air channels over various beams requires different dish. but today we can use a single dish to do most of them.
well this has been on for sometime now but i recently gave it a trial to see how it works and i must say it really worked its worth the try.

Although many installers had created homemade multiple lnb holder but we cant bet with the test of wind.. we mostly suffer lost of signal when faced with strong wind. but with this strong integrated technology we are sure of having a dish that can quite withstand a wind.. i used the word quite because no matter how strong it can be when faced with a Strong wind it might fail, even trees fall *winks* but that is by the way this dish is strong enough.

what satellite can we receive with this SRT D85W dish?

with this  SRT D85W it’s possible to receive with ONE SINGLE DISH 7 satellites !
  • Eutelsat 36A at 36°  (DSTV)
  • ASTRA 2F at 28,2°(Multi TV)
  • Badr 5 at 26° (MBC HD pakages but now encrypted )
  • Eutelsat 16A at 16° (My TV Smart) &  Amos 5 at 17°
  • SES 5 at 4,9° & Eutelsat 7A at 7°

Installation

The installation of SRT D85W requires a skilled installer, i am going to drop a video here that will guide you in installing these satellites
  1. Track the first signal Eutelsat 16A/Amos 5 with the LNB placed at the center of the LNB bracket (focal point) then track Eutelsat 36A then SES 5. As soon as you receive the 3 satellites, it’s very easy to catch Astra 2F & Badr 5.
  2. Connect all the LNBs to the receiver using one DiSEqC Switch.
  3.  STRONG Technologies released a video in order to teach installers how to install the Dish. In fact the usual logic of dish installation is not respected with such a multibeam dish as the dish has to face a special orientation/elevation in order to receive all the satellite.
